That’s right, it’s time for Earthmover Credit Union’s Summertime Skip A Loan Payment Program. As a member of ECU, you can defer your next fixed rate loan payment until the end of the term if you qualify. That means more money for summer fun and one less thing to worry about. All you have to do is complete the loan payment extension request form and authorize a small extension fee to cover processing costs.

It’s easy to do. Just complete and mail the form to Earthmover Credit Union, Attn. Skip A Pay Processor, PO Box 2937, Aurora, IL 60507 anytime between June 2009 through August 2009. You may also fax the form to (630) 844-3406 or drop it off at any Earthmover branch office. Please include a check for $30 (the extension fee), or indicate your authorization for a $30 transfer from your share account. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 800.844.2ECU.

How it works: Submit the completed Loan Payment Extension Request at least ten days before your loan’s due date. Then simply skip that month’s payment. Note: Interest will continue to accrue during the month that your payment is skipped, and the term of your loan will be extended. If your loan is paid via payroll deduction or automatic payment transfer, the amount normally applied to your loan will be deposited into your share account. Note: you may only skip one loan payment per loan.
