Better experience, better rewards
To provide a better experience to our members, we have selected a new credit card processor. This means current cardholders will receive a new credit card. Your new card will need to be activated on or after Monday, July 28. To ensure a smooth transition, we have put together all the information you'll need to make the change:
Activation
- On July 14, we mailed new Visa credit cards to all cardholders.
- Your new card can only be activated on or after Monday, July 28 after 5:45 a.m. Your current card will remain active until then.
- Activation instructions are included with your new credit card.
- Your old credit card will become inactive after Monday, July 28 at 5:45 a.m.
Payments
- Update any automatic payments with your new credit card information, after July 28.
- If you have any payments scheduled through Bill Pay in online banking, make sure to update them to reflect your new card number.
- Payments made after July 23 will be processed on July 28, with the effective date reflecting the original payment date.
- The next two months, credit card payments will be due August 25, 2025 and September 23, 2025. In October, we will resume our normal payment schedule, with all credit card payments due on the 21st of the month.
UChoose Rewards®
One of the best things about your new credit card is our new rewards program, UChoose Rewards®, which launches on July 28, 2025. You will immediately begin earning 1.5 points per dollar on everyday purchases, which are redeemable for cash back, shopping, travel, event tickets and more. Your existing ScoreCard Rewards points will transfer to the UChoose Rewards® platform on August 27, 2025.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I receiving a new credit card?
We’re switching to a new credit card processor to bring you better features and service. That means a new card for you.
Will my interest rate change as part of this conversion?
Nope. Your interest rate and other account terms will stay the same.
Will I get a new PIN for ATM access?
Yes. Your current PIN won’t work with the new card, and we won’t send one by mail. You can choose your PIN when you activate your card or call later to set it up.
My current card doesn’t expire for a while. Can I keep using it?
Your current card will stop working on July 28, 2025 at 5:45 a.m. CT, even if the expiration date is later. You’ll receive instructions with your new card so it’s ready to use right away.
What is EMV?
EMV stands for Europay, Mastercard® and Visa®. It’s a global chip technology that adds an extra layer of security to your card. You might also hear it called “chip and signature.”
Will all merchants accept my new chip card?
Yes. Your card will work wherever Visa is accepted.
My spouse and I both have Earthmover Credit Union credit cards, but only one card arrived. Will they get theirs?
Yes. Each cardholder will receive their own card with a unique number for added security. They may arrive separately, but don’t worry, you’ll still get just one bill.
What should I do about bills or subscriptions linked to my current card?
To avoid service interruptions, be sure to update your new card number and expiration date with any merchants you’ve set up for recurring payments, like utilities or streaming services.
Will my credit card due date change?
No. Your payment due date will stay exactly the same.
Will the payment mailing address change?
Yes. Starting July 28, 2025, please send payments to:
P.O. Box 2711
Omaha, NE 68103-2711
Be sure to update this if you use online Bill Pay. Payments can still be accepted at all Earthmover branch locations or via online banking.
I set up automatic payments through payroll, ACH or another bank. Do I need to do anything?
Yes. To keep those payments running smoothly, contact your payment provider on or after July 28 with your new card number and the updated payment address listed above.
Will my old transaction history still be available online?
No. You won’t be able to access old statements online after July 28. We recommend saving or printing any past statements you’d like to keep before that date.
Do I need to register my card to start earning rewards points?
No. You’ll start earning points as soon as you use your new card.
Where can I earn points?
You’ll earn points everywhere Visa is accepted. Some stores and online retailers may even offer extra points for purchases.
How can I do a cash advance with my Visa credit card?
Currently, you can perform a cash advance at any ATM using your PIN. Cash advances at branch locations are not available until further notice. We will notify members as soon as in-branch cash advances become available again. If you need help locating an ATM or resetting your PIN, please contact us at 630.844.4950 or access ATMs here.
