What is Shared Branching?
Earthmover Credit Union has proudly partnered with other credit unions across the country to provide you convenient access to your accounts and money, creating the CO-OP Shared Branching network that allows members of other credit unions to use their branches to conduct basic transactions. What does that mean for you? You can conduct transactions at more than 5,000 locations nationwide. Whether you are across town and can’t get to your branch or have relocated, your credit union remains accessible because of CO-OP Shared Branching.
How to access
If you need to access your funds when away from Earthmover Credit Union, you have the ability to visit any other CO-OP Shared Branch credit union to access your account or carry out a transaction.

New verification for out-of-state members
If you bank at one of our CO-OP Shared Branch locations, a teller can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This additional layer of authentication will be used for loan payments, cashier's checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
How it works
- Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org
- Select Earthmover Credit Union from a drop-down list.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID.
- Take a selfie
- Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
