What is Shared Branching?
Earthmover Credit Union has proudly partnered with other credit unions across the country to provide you convenient access to your accounts and money, creating the CO-OP Shared Branching network. This partnership allows members of other credit unions to use their branches to conduct basic transactions and share their surcharge-free ATM access. What does that mean for you? You can conduct transactions at more than 5,000 locations nationwide and utilize 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the country. Whether you are across town and can’t get to your branch or have relocated, your credit union remains accessible because of CO-OP Shared Branching.
How to access
New verification for out-of-state members
If you bank at one of our CO-OP Shared Branch locations, a teller can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. IDCheck is an additional layer of authentication that will be used for loan payments, cashier's checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
How it works
- Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org
- Select Earthmover Credit Union from a drop-down list.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID.
- Take a selfie
- Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
